Lotus announced they will be unveiling to new motorsport versions of the Exige S at the 2013 Autosport International Show in Birmingham. The car comes in Exige V6 Cup and Cup R versions, which will join the Evora GT4 on the stage.

Exige Cup versions are powered by a 3.5-liter supercharged V6 Toyota engine, rated at 366 horsepower and 413 Nm of torque, mated to a six-speed paddle shift manual transmission. Given the car’s 1040 kg dry weight, that power enables amazing performance with a 0 to 60 mph time of 3.8 seconds, and drag limited top speed of 170 mph.

Being a full-on track car, the Cup features an aerodynamic kit consisting of front splitter, rear diffuser, and a large rear wing. AP Racing brakes, sport exhaust, and adjustable dampers are also part of the package.  The stripped-out interior features racing seats with six-point harness, roll cage and a fire extinguisher.

Visitors to Lotus booth at Autosport show also get a chance to see the championship winning Evora GTC, and also win a Driving Experience Day courtesy of the Lotus Driving Academy.
