MEC Design launches an updated version of their styling kit for the Mercedes SLS, featuring new details and a nice interior treatment. The body kit is subtle, and the wheels are not that insane, but the end result is pretty cool.
The ingredients of the kit include MEC front bumper with LED insert and 2 piece front spoiler lip in carbon finish – or a 1 piece spoiler if you like that – rear diffuser with an “Extreme” diffuser also in carbon finish, side skirts with optional with LED lighting, rear spoiler, a roof spoiler, and a roof scoop. OK, those two last bits seems like afterthoughts to be honest.
MEC’s tuning program for the SLS goes deeper than just the visuals. They also offer a stainless steel exhaust system, coilover suspension; height adjustable with up to 70mm lowering, MEC Design Wheels mecxtreme3 in either 20-inch or 21-inch versions.
As for the interior, you get a new sport steering wheel with carbon arms and Alcantara grips plus carbon fiber shifter, a carbon trimming package that covers center console, door panels, door frames, door sills, and rear compartment between the seats, as well as branded floor mats with red leather trim and stitching and Alcantara trunk finishing.
