BMW M135i is a proper hot hatchback by the Bavarian car maker. It has 320 horsepower in its standard form, and a handling that puts sports saloon to shame. Now Versus Performance decided to have a crack at improving this little beast, and to put their effort to test, Sport Auto took the car to the Hockenheimring.

Versus BMW M135i is boosted from the standard 320 hp and 450 Nm of torque to 390 hp and 550 Nm. They have also fitted the car with a Bastuck exhaust system, but the chassis didn’t need that much work. The M135i just gets a set of KW Clubsport coilovers, and 18-inch ATS Motorsport wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tires, and it’s good to go.

These modifications make the little M135 a much better performer than the standard car, shaving up to 2 seconds off its lap time around Hockenheim short circuit. The car reaches 100 km/h from nought in slightly over 4.5 seconds, and passes 250 km/h without breaking a sweat.
