RENM Lamborghini Gallardo STS-700 Revealed

Lamborghini Gallardo STS-700 by RENM Performance is the closest thing to a Blancpain Super Trofeo race car you can drive on the streets. It draws a fine line between track performance and convenience for road use. It is a serious bit of kit based on the Super Trofeo Stradale version of the Gallardo.

Looking dangerously hot in this shade of red, RENM’s Gallardo features a number of enhancements over the normal Trofeo model, beginning with a carbon fiber aero kit. Featuring adjustable front and rear spoilers and diffusers, this kit is also very light and manages the airflow for optimum cooling.

Then there’s the V10 engine which RENM has upgraded with a highly efficient exhaust system weighing only 11 kg, titanium connecting rods, custom billet pistons and crankshaft with raised compression ratio. The fuel injection and cooling systems are also improved. The result of all that is an increased output up to 700 hp. And the result of that is a 0 to 100 km/h time of 3.2 seconds and top speed of 330 km/h.

To cope with that kind of speed, the tuner has upgraded the suspension as well, with Ohlins three-way fully adjustable dampers suitable for both race and road use, adjustable front anti-roll bar and wishbone suspension links. That is complemented with a carbon ceramic brake kit.

Interior modifications include lightweight Alcantara seats, roll cage, and racing harness.
