So the production version of the gorgeous Alfa Romeo 4C has been unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show, which means the car is finally being prepared for releases. The production will kick off with 1000 units of a special ‘Launch Edition’ series.

500 units will be sent to America, 400 to Europe, Middle East and Africa, and the rest for other parts of the world. The production of the normal 4C is also limited, but the number is yet to be decided.

The Launch Edition 4C features an aero kit, dark wheels and accents, as well as darkened LED lights. Prices will start at around 60,000 Euro.

This compact Italian sports car that has a length is incredibly light – at 870 kg – thanks to a blend of carbon fiber and aluminum. It is powered by a 1750cc turbocharged four-cylinder engine developing 235 horsepower, and features a DCT transmission and a limited-slip rear differential.

Performance-wise, it goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and reaches an eventual 250 km/h.
