Improved Nissan LEAF Launches in the UK

Nissan LEAF 2 600x400 at Improved Nissan LEAF Launches in the UK

A new, improved and British-built version of the Nissan LEAF will soon launch in the UK, boasting – according to the Comapny – over 100 improvements over its predecessor. Most of the changes were made as a result of feedback from LEAF owners.

The most important improvement for end users of Nissan LEAF is the increased range. It is not much – up from 109 miles to 124 miles – but those few extra miles may become handy some day. What’s more, you get an enhanced battery warranty that gives added peace of mind, and the pack is now capable of recharging in about half the time of the first-generation LEAF.

Available in three trim levels of Visia, Acenta and Tekna, the new LEAF can be specified (depending on the model) with some high-end options, including Nissan’s Around View Monitor technology and new suspension settings specifically tailored for European roads, new interior trims, BOSE sound system, 17-inch alloys and LED headlamps.
