The technicians at ABT Sportline tuning center know Audi engines probably better than the company’s own engineers. For every new model that the Ingolstadt-based car maker puts out, they come up with a full line of power upgrades that cover all the engines in the range.

This time it is the turn of the Audi A4 Avant to get the treatment. Beginning with the 1.8 liter TFSI engine, ABT boost the power of this small engine to 211 horsepower. Next stop is the 2.0 liter TFSI engine which gets 270 horsepower. That is serious power, but crème de la crème of the A4 engines is a 3.0 liter V6 unit. When ABT is through with this one, it makes 380 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque.

ABT also takes care of the diesel engines, tuning the 2.0 liter version to 205 horsepower, and the 3.0 liter TDI to 300 horsepower.

Apart from the engine upgrades, ABT offers a subtle arodynamic kit for the A4 consisting of a front spoiler, rear diffuser and side skirts, as well as a sport exhaust system with new tailpipes, sport lowered suspension, and a set of their exclusive wheels, available in sizes 18 to 21 inch.
