The official pricing has been confirmed for the new 2014 Kia Soul Facelift, and this unique urban crossover starts at under 15 grand. That’s $14,700 to be more precise, not including destination charges of $795. Still, you get plenty of bang for your buck, as even the base model is packed with features.
Standard on the 2014 Kia Soul facelift is a 1.6L I-4 DOHC gasoline direct injection (GDI), four wheel disc brakes, rack-ready roof with integrated mounting points, air conditioning, power door locks, power windows with driver-side one-touch auto-down, SiriusXM Satellite Radio, USB/auxiliary input jacks, Bluetooth wireless technology and Vehicle Stability Management (VSM). You also get privacy glass, Hill-Start Assist Control (HAC), and 16-inch wheels options as well as keyless entry and cruise control. All this makes the Soul Base pretty good value for money.
The difference between the base and the mid-range model is quite staggering though, as the Soul Plus starts at $18,200. But then it comes with 17-inch alloy wheels, gloss black with chrome bezel front upper grille and outside mirrors with turn signal indicators as standard, and offers options like rear camera, and automatic headlights.
There are three packages, including the Infinity audio system for $1,400, Primo Package (a panoramic sunroof with power shades, leather trimmed seats, heated front seats, leather-wrapped steering wheel and gearshift knob, push-button start with Smart Key and front fog lights) for $3,000, and an ECO package that includes Idle Stop and Go System (ISG), low rolling resistance tires and 16-inch alloy wheels for $400.
Top of the range 2014 Kia Soul Facelift model is the Soul Exclaim, adding 18-inch alloy wheels, body-colored front and rear bumper tusks, LED positioning lights, LED taillights with LED high-mounted stop light, power folding outside mirrors, UVO with eServices and a Rear-Camera Display. It costs $20,300.
Available package for this model include the $2,600 Sun and Sand Package with navigation with an 8-inch display, Infinity Audio system with center speakers, subwoofer and external amplifier, speaker lights and automatic temperature control with cluster ionizer, and a $2,500 ‘The Whole Shabang’ package adding leather-trimmed seats, heated front seats, push-button start with Smart Key and LED positioning lights.
