This tuning program by BBM Motorsport targets a very specific model, the BMW 330d Touring E91. It is the old generation 3-Series now replaced by the F30, but BBM has given it fresh breath of life with a new lick of paint, some new wheels, and lots more power.
As mentioned, it’s the 330d model powered by a diesel engine that makes, in its standard form, 230 horsepower and 520 Nm of torque. Using a special chip tuning kit honed by the tuner’s own DynoJet 24xLC testing procedure, BBM manages to increase that to 274 horsepower and a staggering amount of torque: 859 Newton meters. The engine also gets Supersprint exhaust system and high-performance air filters.
They didn’t reveal the performance numbers, but with that kind of torque the E91 330d should be pretty quick. Another sign that this car is capable of achieving a scary kind of speed is the work BBM has done on the chassis.
The BMW 330d Touring E91 by BBM Motorsport is fitted with KW Street Comfort coilover kit that is guaranteed to retain the car’s ride quality while improving the dynamics. Then there is the wheel/ tire combo, with 8×19 and 9×19 inches BBS CH-R rims shod with 225/35 and 225/30 tyres respectively.
Visually, the car features a matte red wrap by SFT Carwrap, and some little details such as side markers and daytime running lights, a digital speed display system and a comfort eject function provided by FM-Coding.
