Carlex Design is establishing itself as the world’s finest interior specialists. After a unique treatment for the BMW 4 Series, they have now come up with a bespoke interior design for the Mercedes SLS Black Series, using Alcantara as the main feature.

The extensive use of Alcantara in Carlex Design Mercedes SLS Black Series is an homage to the GT3 racing cars. After all, the SLS Black Series can be considered as a road-going version of the SLS GT3.

Every single inch of the SLS interior is modified in this treatment and wrapped in leather, or Alcantara, or carbon fiber. The seats get a unique upholstery pattern with leather and suede combo and yellow stitching and piping. The dashboard meanwhile is wrapped almost entirely in Alcantara and stitched with yellow thread.

A highlight of Carlex Design Mercedes SLS Black Series is its bespoke steering wheel on which all the features of this interior treatment culminate. The wheel is part leather, part carbon fiber, while the center is Alcantara. The whole thing is then garnished with yellow accents and stitching.
