We have seen so many fantastic visual treatment for the BMW M4 in the relatively short time that’s its been out in the market that to be honest we are hardly impressed by just a set of wheels and some suspension tweakery. But guys at Baan Velgen proved that, done right, these simple treatments sometime work better than a full styling package.

This black BMW M4 they recently worked on for a customer looks absolutely amazing, mainly due to its rich, dark and deep paint job, and of course because of the rims the tuner has chosen for it.

They are HRE P104 wheels finished in Satin Bronze, in sizes 9,5 x 20 inch in the front and 11 x 20 inch in the back, wrapped in 265/35 and 295/30 Pirelli tires respectively. This car is equipped with the optional ceramic brakes package that comes with gold-painted M brake calipers. The choice of color for the wheels was in part affected by these, since they make a great match and make a nice contrast with the black exterior.

Of course, such a perfect setup could have not been achieved without some serious suspension modifications. For that, Baan Velgen turned to German supplier H&R and ordered a set of their lowering springs. They are guaranteed not to ruin the car’s ride quality while resulting in a substantial reduction in ride height.
