MEC Design have given their signature “Black in Black” treatment to yet another Mercedes-Benz model, this time a W216 CL500 Coupe. The package tailored for the MEC Design Mercedes CL is a substantial one, including 10 different upgrades.
The work on the MEC Design Mercedes CL begins with the exterior, where the tuner installs their 2Face body kit, consisting of a front bumper with LED daytime running lights, rear bumper with “Extreme” diffuser, side skirts with LED, and 3-piece rear spoiler.
Complementing that elegant kit is a set of 21 inch meCCon series wheels type CC5 in gloss black, supported by MEC’s ELS Lowering Module that drops the car by a couple of inches, making those wheels really pop. The car also benefits from 4-pipe stainless steel exhaust system sound version ‘Earthquake’ which you can hear below:
As for the interior, MEC Design Mercedes CL makes great use of Piano Black for the trimming and also the steering wheel. Special wood finishing is also available, plus high-end velour floor mats with nubuck edge. Optional extras include a blacked-out MED grille and mirror caps and bulbs exchanged with newer LED technology.
