Black Baron: Brabus Mercedes S500 Coupe

Brabus’s latest take on the Coupe version of the Mercedes S-Class concerns a non-AMG S500 version. That is probably why it look kind of weird. OK, maybe weird is a bit harsh, but there is no denying this blacked-out Brabus Mercedes S500 Coupe is overwhelmingly unique.

When Brabus works on a high-performance AMG Merc they naturally style the car in a way that reflects the inner power. That’s why their 800 and 900 models get all sorts of pronounced aero parts and large air intakes. In the case of Brabus Mercedes S500 Coupe, though, it seems they just wanted to make it look scary.

You still find lots of Brabus paraphernalia inside and out on this car, such as custom grilles, revised front and rear fascia, quad tailpipes, and a set of excessively large Monoblock wheels. What sets this S500 apart is the black theme created using a matte black paint job and heavily blacked-out grilles. This is probably the first Halloween-inspired Brabus car ever.

The thing we find most peculiar about this Brabus Mercedes S500 Coupe is something that, on the surface, is so subtle it’s not even worth noticing! It’s the silver Mercedes star on the front grille. They have blacked out the ring around it, and this simple mod has given the car a whole new face. It’s kinda creepy, but as we said, pretty unique.
