Following its official debut at the 2015 SEMA show, the yellow Liberty Walk Audi R8 is now evidently on a tour of the United States, visiting various car shows and shop openings. The car was recently spotted at the grand opening of Performance Auto Gallery in Maryland.

The gig provided the visitors with a rare opportunity to examine the Liberty Walk Audi R8 in person and appreciate the little details that make these cars so popular. That said, one may find oneself dismayed upon closer inspection of ‘extreme’ tuner cars like this, as the fit and finish is often woeful – something you won’t notice in the picture.

But the shouldn’t have been an issue with this particular Liberty Walk Audi R8 as it was put together in Japan by LB-Performance experts and shipped to the U.S. It could be because the R8 has a unique look itself, but we kind of get the feeling the wide body LB kit looks obscured on this car. It could also be the color.

At any rate, the Liberty Walk wide body kit for Audi R8 consists of front and rear fenders extensions, custom skirts, air suspension, and ultra wide wheels and tires. The tuner can also hook you up custom bumpers and aero kits as well as sport exhaust systems.
