DS Automobile & Autowerke GmbH has once again built an extraordinary vehicle based on one of Hamann’s finest products. It’s the Hamann BMW M6 Mirror, a wide body version of the sports coupe complete with a power kit for a full 730 horsepower.
Beginning with the exterior, Hamann BMW M6 Mirrors adds to the standard car a set of nicely designed components including front spoiler lip, front and rear fender extensions, side skirts, revised rear bumper, new diffuser and a large rear wing. There are other little touches such as gloss black grilles and mirrors. The styling kit is then complemented with a set of 21-inch Anniversary Evo wheels, measure 9.0” wide on the front and 11.0” wide at the back, finished in black.
As for the performance, the 4.4 liter bi-turbo V8 engine (standard 560 horsepower) gets a full treatment including software, intake and exhaust upgrade complete with custom downpipes and cats. As a result this Hamann BMW M6 now makes 730 horsepower and 960 Nm of torque. It enhances the performance of the car by a considerable measure, and more importantly improves the soundtrack of the engine which is frankly a bit dull in standard form.
