Last month German tuner and wrapping expert Folienwerk-NRW released a wonderful new creation based on the old Mercedes CL. Boasting a wide body Prior Design Black Series body kit, this Champagne Matt Mercedes CL looks as expensive as its name suggests.

The main highlight of Folienwerk’s Champagne Matt Mercedes CL is indeed the unique vinyl it’s wrapped in. But one should not forget the role that massive Prior Design kit plays in the whole thing. The package, consisting of custom front and rear bumpers, huge front and rear fenders, new side skirts and sills, and a complete set of carbon aero parts, gives the car the presence of pet lion in a king’s palace!

The kit and the wrap on this Champagne Matt Mercedes CL is complemented with black chrome stripes and accents as well as smoked lights and blacked-out grilles, all of which are cool. What is not that cool is the 20-inch G&B Design wheels. The dished rear rims, combined with the suspension adjustment, have failed to match the rest of the car and look sort of out of place. The car also features a new stainless steel exhaust system so its roar is as mean as its appearance.
