One of the most popular power upgrade kits for the F80 Series BMW M4 is the one offered by German tuner Mcchip-DKR. Consisting mainly of some computer codes, this power module gives you around 90 extra horses without too much hassle or a big bill.
Installed on this gorgeous red BMW M4 and verified on the dyno, Mcchip’s package results in a total of 517 horsepower and 668 Newton meter of torque which, by anyone’s standard, is a huge improvement over the standard 430 horsepower and 550 Nm – especially as it only takes like four hours to achieve it. Mcchip has not announced any performance figures for this package, but an educated guess would put the 0 to 100 km/h time at around four seconds.
This M4, to all intents and purposes, is the perfect sports coupe. It looks absolutely amazing, partly due to the red paint work and the carbon fiber M Performance kit which includes more prominent aero parts and black wheels, and of course the performance package. What’s more, as you may be able to notice in the photos, the car also features the optional Akrapovic titanium exhaust system. So it looks and sounds magnificent, and it goes like an Olympic champ. Perfect!
