The M550d version of the BMW 5 Series Touring is considered by many experts to be THE perfect car. It has style, space, power, economy, luxury, safety,… pretty much anything you can ask for in a car. And now we have found a version of it that is also cool. Meet the wonderful Cartech BMW M550d xDrive Touring.

What we have here is a car that has all the good parts of the regular M550d, but with enhanced styling and power brought on through the use of very fine aftermarket components. Cartech BMW M550d is finished in metallic black with all the chrome parts on the exterior painted a foggy black to match the wheels.

Speaking of the wheels, they are 20 inch Flow Form from HRE wrapped with Dunlop tires, and they are complemented with suspension components from H&R. So the road holding and the overall handling capabilities of the car are enhanced by a significant amount. That’s a good thing, because Cartech BMW M550d also boast a power kit.

The tuner has upped the output of the M550d from around 380 horsepower to a full 457 horsepower with 888 Nm of torque. Taking into account that this car has the xDrive all-wheel-drive system, it should be pretty damn quick.
