A few weeks ago we showed you the new Prior Design GLE Coupe Wide Body, a modified version of this weird SUV that looked so good, it made all the other tuners worried. So maybe that is the reason DS Automobile decided to release this Hamann Mercedes GLE Coupe now, just to remind people there is an alternative.
We don’t know if DS’ Hamann Mercedes GLE Coupe wide body looks as good as that Prior Design thing, but it certainly is a handsome car and about 110 percent nicer than what the standard GLE Coupe looks like. We do however like very much indeed those black Hamann Anniversary Evo rims, especially for the contrast they make against the white paint work. They look discreet and elegant and at the same time very luxurious and expensive.
The body kit on Hamann Mercedes GLE Coupe is also somewhat discreet, you know, apart from those swollen wheel arches which look like the biceps of a body builder wearing a t-shirt three size too small for him. It also include a custom chin spoiler, a sporty new grille, side skirts, rear bumper with new diffuser insert and tailpipes, and a tall rear wing on the tailgate which we haven’t seen on any other modded GLE Coupe yet. It’s a nice touch.
