An Italian importer and tuner called UK Garage has done something scary to the Lotus Exige Mk1 and named it the Extrema . They offer three choices : a Chevrolet V8 with 420 hp or 500 hp, a Corvette ZO6 V8 LS7 engine with 650 hp or a 2.8-liter turbo V6 GM engine with an output of 300 or 350 hp. Now just imagine what will happen with that LS7 engine in a car with size of a shoe!! They actually have some numbers for that: 0 to 100 in just 2.8 seconds and to 200 in 7 seconds and top speed 320 km/h.But for sure Exige great handling is spoiled here.
