Sportec is a Swiss tuner with a huge obsession for horsepower! You might remember their 858 hp Porsche 911. Now they took an Audi S4 Avant, which is a fine car with 333hp, and bumped the power up to 425 hp, for no good reason! Weirdly, the car is no faster than the standard because top speed is the same, but don’t despair because at least acceleration is a tenth of a second faster!!!

Yea, we are struggling to get the point of this car too, Sportec kinda justify it by saying that this additional power makes the car more efficient during daily driving because it is more responsive and the extra torque means less gear changes and …

We think it’s only good for showing off! You can laugh at the face of standard S4 owners telling them you got 425 hp, yea you won’t be going any faster than them, but it’s cool to have more power anyway! And Sportec helps you showing off your power by giving the car a meaner sportier look.

They modify the suspension and lower the car by 30mm, also stiffen it up for better handling. Braking package is also upgraded, again for no good reason! I don’t think 0.1 faster acceleration would be that dangerous after all! And they give you the choice of  19 or 20 inch sporty wheels.
