VW specialist Hofele Design has revealed their tuning package for VW Phaeton luxury limousine, calling it the Mythos Royal. Quite a few tuners have ever tired their hands on the Phaeton, so it’s a great occasion actually. The Mythos comes with a number, 12, 8 or 6 based on the type of engine the car has. Apart from the body kit, the tuner also offers performance upgrade upon request.
Hofele’s program for the Phaeton starts with removing all of the VW badges and replacing them by the tuner’s H logo. Then they install a new more rectangular hood with big chromed front grill and a newly formed front bumper. Then at the back, the revised apron comes with integrated trapezoidal stainless steel tailpipes, a new trunk lid, and a new spoiler on it.
For the interior, you get a very fine two-coloured leather upholstery which is stitched in diamond-shape on the seating and the door inserts like Bentley. The instrument panel in front of the driver received additional wooden applications and “Mythos” writing in it. The steering wheel is also covered with leather and the car’s analogue clock received a traditional face in beige color, like the luxury cars of the 30th century!
The Mythos is fitted with 8,5J x 20″ alloy wheels on the front axle and 10J x 20″ on the rear axle. The car also has an ETS lowering module which lowers the chassis by 40 mm.
