Apparently GMC is working on an all-new vehicle to be shown at 2010 Detroit show, which unlike other vehicle by the firm is not a SUV. The Urban Utility Concept aka Granite will be a versatile and practical city car, bigger than a normal hatchback yet much smaller than a SUV. Think of it as an American Kia Soul!

These teaser have been released by GM Labs to give us a hint how the car would look like. They also explain its concept: ” We’ve designed a new breed of truck that’s as efficient as it is chic, innovative as it is functional. Our goal was to create the next generation of urban mobility, fusing a flexible, functional social space with an urban-box design that’s equally at home at the cabin or the club.”
