MINI customers in the US of A are getting a special treat from the company in form of 250 ‘John Cooper Works World Championship 50’ special editions. This model is a tribute to celebrate both the birth of the brand and John Cooper’s first Formula One title victory 50 years ago. It is based on the JCW Hardtop and comes with some unique features.
The most striking feature of this model is indeed the British Racing Connaught Green paint job which is garnished with roof and bonnet stripes in Pepper White. It also gets the JCW aero kitm 17″ Challenge finished in gloss black, custom numbered side scuttles, a unique Championship Red Lounge Leather interior and carbon fiber accents throughout, plus a plaque with John Cooper Works’ signature in the instrument panel.
Pricing for the MINI John Cooper Works World Champion 50 Edition is set at $39,600, with $700 destination charge.
