For 2011 the MINI family including the Cooper, Cabrio and the Clubman have received some new clothes and toys. Each model now comes with new front grill and bumper featuring LED lights, while the back-end design is also revised. The interior of the cars have also been upgraded with newly designed controls and buttons, and new trims.

The new models also get a range of new colors for the exterior including the amazing chili red for Cooper Works models, but still they can be customized with two or even three-tone paint jobs. The cabin too can be personalized with different kinds of upholstery, trim elements, Colour Line ando ther visual features thanks to the Design World program.

2011 MINI models come with a new 1.6 liter diesel unit from BMW. This engine develops 66 kW/90 hp in MINI One D models, and 82 kW/112 hp in MINI Cooper D. The best thing about this diesel powertrain apart for its good power and pulling capability, is of course fuel economy. It averages 3.8 litres per100 kilometres (74.3 mpg) and has CO2 emissions of just 99 g/km which means it’s fully Euro5 compatible.
