Tesla unveiled its production plans for the future during a presentation in Wall Street, where it became clear the intention of the U.S. manufacturer to develop, on the same platform as the Model S, a cabriolet, a minivan and a crossover.
All the new models will have the battery installed below the bottom of the car, so that the impact on vehicle dynamics is the lowest possible.
In the same presentation Tesla said they’re also developing a new cooling system for the electronics and engine of the vehicle, though this is a complex process that will involve more costs to the car, but should increase its efficiency.
