In case you never heard of Unicate, they are a subdivision of MEC Design, the famous Mercedes tuner, specializing in modifying high-end cars in order to make them, as the name suggests, unique! Their latest project is based on a 2009 Lamborghini Murcielago LP640, and it’s scary!

They call it the Yeniceri Edition and it features a matte black exterior color, plus LED Daylight driving lights integrated into the front grill under the bumper as well as adding 5 LED lights underneath each of the side skirts. LEDs are also used to garnish the engine compartment, which is a first.

The name Yeniceri belongs to an elite fighting troop of soldiers from the Ottoman Empire which as Unicate points out ” Their name alone would strike fear into the hearts of anyone that heard it and the thunderous sounds that they made as they approached would send people into panic!”

And they want their Lambo to be just as cool, so apart from the color and lights, they gave it a new exhaust system which adds 20 PS and more importantly gives out an amazing 120db whilst standing still!

Other features of the Yeniceri Lambo include Unicate “ConcavTen” Wheels in size 8,5×20 with 2 inch outer lip and 235 tires on the front and 13×20 with a 6 inch outer lip and 335 tires on the rear, finished in matte black with chrome outer lips, and lowered ride height by 1 inch (20mm).

Inside the cabin you get a completely new carbon fiber and leather sports steering wheel, as well as carbon fiber-garnished speedometer housing, gear paddles, heating-/ radio housing and the middle console. For your entertainment, Unicate provides a bespoke system with 2 way-system-boxes, amplifier and bass case, but to be honest I’d rather listen to that new exhaust!

Cem Altun, CEO and founder of Unicate and the MEC Design Group, said “We wanted to take the wheels to the extremes and wanted to give it a wider wheel on the rear but there aren’t any tires wide enough. It’s great! It drives much better now than when it had the smaller original wheels on, it’s much more sportier now and you have the real feeling of driving a safer sports cars.”
