Lamborghini Estoque To Use VW Components

Lamborghini Estoque at Lamborghini Estoque To Use VW Components

British magazine Autocar released the interview with Lamborghini boss Stephan Winkelmann, in which he confirmed  the Estoque four-door, or something quite like it, is going into production as the firm’s third model. He also admits the car will share many of its components with VW Group cars.

Don’t get it wrong though, it’s not going to share parts with the Passat or the Golf! It is more likely that the Estoque inherits technologies and features from the parent company, Audi. You may also consider Bentley as the other donor.

Winkelmann maintains despite the fact that they have to share underpinnings with VW, becasue it would be totally illogical and painfully expensive to develop an all-new platform, the production car will be a full blooded Lambo in every way, with the same finesse and character you expect from the Raging Bull.

We just hope they don’t fall in the same trap that Bentley did with the first edition Continental GT, which had a console lifted straight from VW Phaeton.
