Saudi Arabia To Become Carmaker

ghazal at Saudi Arabia To Become Carmaker

Apparently the Gazal SUV which was designed as a concept by students of King Saud University gave them enough confidence to go one step further and try to become a carmaker. According to a report they’ve signed a deal with a South Korean car manufacturer to build a local plant for them with a capital investment of $500 million. They expect the first prototype to arrive in two years. It’ll be an economic vehicle for local use and also for export to other GCC and some African countries. If it works Arabia will become the second car maker in the middle east after Iran.
