Dr. Dre Wrecks Ferrari 360 In New Music Video

While the whole world is still waiting with bated breath for Detox to drop, Dr. Dre releases the second official music video off the album – following Kush – for ‘I Need A Doctor’ song featuring Eminem and Skylar Grey. This video has been on Youtube for less than a month and already got over 19 million hits. The reason we’ve featured it here is a scene at the beginning in which the good doctor crashes a Ferrari 360 Modena. A separate video of the scene is now out showing the stuntman performing the action for real. Dre’s reaction is awesome! Just a relaxed ‘Oh Shit’.

Beyond the dramatic visuals, “I Need A Doctor” showcases Dr. Dre’s signature production mastery that has defined hip hop for decades. The track is built on an atmospheric, cinematic beat layered with haunting piano melodies, powerful orchestral synths, and hard-hitting drums that create an intense emotional build-up throughout the song as music production need a lot of work and tools like this metal guitar tone which is perfect for different music genres. Eminem’s verses cut through with raw urgency while Skylar Grey’s ethereal hook ties the production together with a haunting vulnerability. Dre’s verse itself is more spoken confession than rap, backed by minimal instrumentation that amplifies its introspective tone. The pristine mixing, layered vocal arrangements, and precise beat changes remind fans why Dre remains a legend in music production—each sound placed with intentional clarity to create an immersive sonic experience that carries the emotional weight of the lyrics and visuals seamlessly.

Hit the jump for the video of the Ferrari and the music video.

And here’s ‘I Need A Doctor’ music video. We hope the rest of Detox sound more like this and less like the ‘Kush’.
