During the EVER Monaco expo Nissan announced official pricing for the LEAF electric car in France, and it starts at EUR 30,990, with 5 grand incentive from the French government.
Principality of Monaco is a huge fan of electric cars and green motoring, so it was the perfect place for Nissan who is also an sponsor of EVER Monaco – an annual automotive show dedicated to ecological vehicles and renewable energies in the region – to promote the LEAF as it’s preparing for market launch in France.
To make this form of electric motoring more accesible for more people, the LEAF will also be available through a private finance scheme. The customer can choose the offer period (from 37 to 49 months), as well as the amount of their first deposit and optional services such as maintenance or credit insurance. For example, with a deposit of €5,339.44 (after the government’s incentive), the Nissan LEAF will be available for just €499 per month for 37 months. After three years, the customer has the option of keeping the car, trading it in for a new one or handing it back to Nissan.
That’s of course for the rest of France, since citizens of the principality are generally rich enough to afford at last a couple of hundreds of them! Order books for Nissan LEAF in France will open on April 4.
