Remember the teaser video of Revozport BMW 1M Coupe, called the Raze, we showed you earlier? Here’s the real thing.
The car looks superb, but the body kit has turned it into a full-on track car. It is very well designed and the color combination is very cool. But as mentioned it’s not very practical. The aero kit results in a total weight reduction of 60kg, which improves power-to-weight ratio.
The ingredients of the kit according to Revozport include: Carbon Front Splitter with Brake Cooling Ducts, Front Brake Cooling Kit, Side Skirts, Carbon Lightweight Vented Bonnet, Carbon Roof (Replacement or Insert type) both available, Carbon Trunk, Carbon Rear diffuser with ground effect, Carbon Trunk Lip Spoiler, Carbon Roof Spoiler, Carbon Interior Front and Rear Door Boards.
They are also working on a performance upgrade package called P450, which must mean it packs 450 hp. A full titanium exhausts system will also be offered.

OK I apologize for being a little too sarcastic, that wasn’t nice. But again, the kit isn’t for people who want practicality. It’s for people that want the ultimate performance street machine and weekend track beast… which it is and it’s beautiful to boot. I know this, I’m one of them and have already pre-ordered the entire set up. As for scraping speed bumps and a rough ride… that’s why God created the adjustable coilover! Mine is running Moton Motor Sport series, remote resevoir, double adjustables which are height adjustable… no scraping, smooth comfortable ride on the street – then tighten and lower them for track events. No problemo.
Alright, maybe practical is not a good word. But there are performance cars that are perfectly fine to drive around without catching on every speed hump or shattering your spine. This, I’m not sure is one of them.
FYI, people don’t buy BMW 1M’s then mod them to be lighter, faster, and more aggressive looking, to be practical… you seem to be missing the point completely. People that want practical, drive an Accord or Prius. Maybe you should write for Consumer Reports instead of a performance car blog…
