This picture, which appears to be a scan of 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show pocket guide, shows what’s possibly the new Maserati SUV.

We definitely hope it’s a fake, because look at it. It’s awful. It looks like a GranTursimo that’s taken some inadequate number of ‘man pills’.

Based on official comments by Maserati and Chrysler officials, the Italian are supposed to do the design, and the Americans would provide the powertrain and chassis of the new Jeep Grand Cherokee for it. Now, what are seeing in this picture cannot be an Italian design!

IAA will soon opens its doors to public and we shall find out if it’s for real or just a stupid illustration. Stay tuned.
