GMC announced a new $795 Color Touch Navigation System for the 2012 Terrain SUV.
The new system offers a wide range of features, including maps, directions, music, hands-free phone, and three months of SiriusXM NavTraffic and local forecast, as well as GMC’s new Color Touch Radio System, plus onboard navigation capabilities, including an updateable secure digital card-based map database, multiple map views and destination input methods.
Entertainment is taken care of with stuff like AM/FM, CD, SiriusXM™ Satellite Radio, USB and auxiliary inputs for iPod and other MP3 players, as well as an SD card reader. Meanwhile you cna keep connected with hands-free control of Bluetooth phones and voice commands through OnStar.
“Today’s car buyers don’t want to settle for mass-market radio, and they don’t have to,” said Tim Nixon, executive director, Global Electrical Systems, Infotainment and Electrification, citing GM research. “They expect to have access to personalized media wherever they are and the introduction of the Color Touch Radio and Navigation System makes media personalization easier than ever.”
