American tuner IND took up a challenge to do up a BMW 1M Coupe for a special customer… in just 48 hours.

And this is what they came up with. It’s a pretty awesome job given the limited time and the end result is such a looker.

After a few adjustments, they began with the exterior and installed a Seibon’s power dome equipped carbon fiber, which goes well with the new gloss black front and side grilles, RevoZport two-piece adjustable front lip and two-piece rear diffuser, all of which complement the Valencia Orange color of the body.

The car also benefits from a one-off pre-production short shifter by Rouge Engineering, and KW ‘s height adjustable sleeve kit suspension kit for sharper cornering and better looks due to the lowered ride height.

For the engine, IND used ESS ECU upgrade, and then mixed two of the best exhaust systems available for the car – Eisenmann’s downpipe-back exhaust system with Akrapovic downpipes – to create a superb soundtrack.

The finishing touches on the car include color-coded Valencia Orange steering wheel trim, a special Valencia Orange striped BMW Performance steering wheel, a BMW Performance rear spoiler with an M3 CRT style paint scheme, and an M badge finished in gloss black with hand-painted Valencia borders. Not to forget there is also an orange engine cover.

The customer who ordered this treatment must hate the stock 1M, because he, or she, had the car delivered to IND right from the dealership. Pretty sure he’s gonna like it now.
