MTM, the tuner of Volkswagen’s high-end cars like Audi and Bentley, released a power upgrade kit for the 4.2 liter TDI V8 diesel engine.

The 350hp engine is found in the cars like Audi A8, Audi Q7 and also W Touareg. MTM’s stage one of tuning doesn’t increase the power. The V-Cantronic only delimits the Audi A8, letting it sail past 282km/h top speed. It costs € 1,400.

Then things get a bit more serious, with a € 1,800 package that increases the power to 410hp and 930 Nm of torque. That’s the magic of M-Cantronic for you.

There’s also a combination of M-Cantronic and V-Cantronic as a sort of all-in-one package for the A8, which costs € 2,700. MTM also offers wheel rims, brakes, exhaust systems and chassis components for all models.
