ABT comes up with a new tuning package for the Volkswagen T5 van. Called the Multivan, it not only gets a sporty body kit, ABT also provides engine tuning. So you end up with a van that looks and goes like a hot hatch. Only you can now also carry a chest of drawers, or your football team in it. Multivan then, is a well-thought name for this car.

On the styling front, the T5 gets a body kit consisting of a front apron with spoiler lip and sports grille, tall side skirts that make the van look closer to the ground, and a sporty rear bumper with a diffuser and four big tailpipes,  as well as a roof spoiler.

As for the engines, the 2.0 liter TSI unit with 204 hp is boosted to 240 hp and generates 400 Nm of torque as well. This engine propels the van from 0 to 100 km/h in 9.4 seconds.

The engine upgrade program for the 2.0 liter diesel takes the power up from 140 hp to 170 hp. The ABT power module can also provide up to 130 hp is you’ve gone for the 102 or 110 hp versions.
