Much to the delight of James May, and everyone else who appreciates a simple and honest to God family car, the first batch of Dacia Dusters hit the UK shores. The first shipment includes 22 left-hand-drive Dusters that are display cars for dealerships, to create hype for the right-hand-drive car’s actual market launch on June 28.
Dacia Duster will be sold via selected Renault dealerships. Dacia is inviting customers to come have a look at the car, configure their preferred version online, including options and accessories, and pre-order it if they like for a deposit of just £100. Customer deliveries will commence in January 2013, just as the brand’s all-new Sandero five-door supermini also launches in Britain.
Dacia is expected to do well in the UK. But right now they don’t have any numbers to brag about, which is why they can just tell us more than 5,500 people have £100. Customer deliveries will commence in January 2013, just as the brand’s all-new Sandero five-door supermini also launches signed up for the E-newsletter!
