In his new video for Evo, Tiff Needell brings us another one of his track battles, this time putting an Aston Martin DBS Volante up against a Mercedes SLS Roadster. Sadly the weather is typical British and wet, so the old man cannot unleash the cars and use their full potential. But the slippery condition makes it more challenging, and, well, fun. Tiff is so excited he sounds like a bag of cats.

The SLS is the most powerful of the two, and on paper it should be much faster. But at the end the Benz is only one second faster than the Aston. The weather condition here was in favour of the British car, as the SLS becomes a wild and uncontrollable – even for Tiff – animal. In the dry the SLS would monster it. And would you listen to the noise it makes. Just amazing.
