The latest tuned Audi to come out of MTM’s workshops is a new A6 Avant 3.0 liter BiTDI diesel. What the German tuner does right off the bat is enhancing the engine and boosting the power of that diesel unit, so the owners of the car benefit from livelier performance. The usual MTM goodies are also available to make the car feel and look better.
The 313 hp V6 biturbo engine gets revised electronics and a couple of other changes for a two-stage power upgrade. Stage one offers 365 hp and 760 Nm torque, while stage two is good for a full 81 hp and a torque of 780 Nm.
After increasing the power, MTM gets busy with the chassis to make sure it copes with that just fine. So they install their own F-Cantronic ECU for air suspension module which is self-adjustable and results in a nice lowering both axles, and high-performance brakes with eight-piston calipers.
Other factor contributing to both the handling and presence of the car is the wheels. MTM offers new lightweight alloys available from 8 X 18″ to 9 X 20″.
