When we’re looking at the new generation SRT Viper, especially the GTS-R racing version, we think of burning rubber, drifting, drag racing, making noise,… all sort of fun stuff. The last thing that springs to mind when thinking about a Viper is safe driving. But weirdly, SRT used a Viper GTS-R to promote safe driving on city streets before the 2012 Grand Prix of Baltimore .
SRT driver Ryan Hunter-Reay drove the the number 93 SRT Viper GTS-R through the streets of Baltimore before the Grand Prix, escorted y Police, to promote responsible driving even if you have a 600-something monster under you. Dunno about that, but we certainly enjoyed the sound of that massive V10 engine.
