So the Tesla Model S is now officially on the roads and we can finally find out what the fuss is all about. In this video Motor Trend’s Carlos Lago reviews the Model S like a normal car to see what it’s like to live with; is it any fun; and is it worth the mahoosive asking price. Turns out the Model S is every bit as good as Tesla says it is.

Here we have an electric car that handles like a normal luxury sedan, is faster than most, is unbelievably well-built and luxurious, and has a range of, at least, 260 miles. What is not to love about that?

This version of the S Carlos drives is the 416 hp model which costs the thick end of $97K. So it’s a 100 grand car. Good news is, it also looks and feels and goes like one. OK, so it doesn’t make any noise, but it’s seriously fast. Carlos says it very well might be the most important car since Ford Model T. He’s right. It is!
