ABT Sportline is real quick in introducing a tuning package for the new Golf VII only a few weeks after its introduction. The kit they have in mind includes a styling package, performance upgrades for all engines in the range, along with new wheels and suspension tuning.

The styling kit is typical ABT, and consists of a front spoiler added to the revised bumper, sports grille, headlight bezels, side skirts, side mirror caps, roof spoiler, rear spron, and rear diffuser with four round tailpipes. The looks are completed with a set of 18 or 19-inch ABT turbine design wheel, finished in dark grey.

As for the engine tuning, ABT begins by boosting the output of Golf’s 1.2 liter TFSI engine from 84hp to 105hp, and the 1.4 TFSI from 140hp to 165hp. For the diesels ABT tweaks the 1.6 TDI from 105hp to 125hp, while the 2.0 liter TDI gets a bump to either 150hp or 210hp. So whatever is your poison, ABT has got you covered.

No words on pricing or any interior upgrades. But rest assured if you ask, ABT can cook something up for you with leather and carbon fiber.
