Holden Special Vehicles (HSV), the performance division of the Australian car maker, announced launch of a new limited edition GTS model celebrating the company’s 25th anniversary. This limited version of just 125 units for the land down under has the same 325 kW (430 hp) 6.2 liter GM V8, but it comes with more bells and whistles, and that’s where the money’s being spent.
The HSV GTS Limited features light-weight, 20″ forged alloy wheel finished in Satin Graphite which result in a weight saving of 22 kg over the standard wheels, “Vector” hood scoops and side vents, also finished in distinctive Satin Graphite, and a couple of exterior badges.
That is in addition to a new six-piston brake system, sill plates, EDI “start-up” screen and an internal I.D. plate, which come as standard. Optional Extras include 6-speed automatic transmission with Active Select ($2,000), sunroof ($1,990), DVD player($1,290), and Liquid Propane Injection ($5,990) for better fuel consumption and enhanced performance.
The car itself is priced at $84,990 AUD, which is two grand more than regular GTS models, but Holden says it comes with seven grand worth of extras.
