German tuner ABT reacted quickly and came up with an upgrade package for the new Audi Q5 facelift. They probably realized the car looks and feel awfully boring, so they tried to liven things up a bit before customers runway and buy something else.
They’ve done a good job, by the looks of things. The Q5 gets a visual treatment, typical of ABT, with a sports front grille, revised bumper featuring a new lip and air intakes, fender extensions, side skirts, rear apron with diffuser and four tailpipes, and a roof spoiler. You also get new wheels, available from 20 to 22-inch.
ABT then got busy with the engines, and boosted the output of both 2.0 liter and 3.0 liter TDI engines. The 2.0 liter is now good for 205 hp and 420 Nm, while the 1.0 liter V6 makes 280 hp and 630 Nm. Now that might spice up the car’s performance a bit.
Uprated suspension and sport exhaust system are other parts of the package.
