MINI sets a new world record for the number of people you can cram into a car – and a small one no less – by squeezing 28 girls into a 2012 Cooper at Potters Fields Park, London. They broke  their own previous record of 27 people, which they set in Eastbourne last year.

The girls were gym members from East Sussex, so they were quite nimble and flexible. It probably wasn’t a pleasant experience for most of them, but hey, it’s a world record. They squeezed people into every inch of the car, including the dashboard, the footwells and they even managed to put four people in the boot.

The ladies then went on to try another record at ITV studios, and this time they crammed 23 people into a classic MINI. This record is two more than the previous one.
