Bilstein is one of the best names in business when it comes to professional performance suspension systems. They just released a number of tailored kits for the Volkswagen Beetle, and they say they will turn the old Bug into a real pleasurable driver’s car.

For the Beetle the German specialist offers their BILSTEIN B6 and BILSTEIN B8 high-performance shock absorbers. More serious drivers can go for the motorsport-tested BILSTEIN B14 coilovers and a high-performance BILSTEIN B16 suspension system with its ten-level damping force adjustment.

Benefits of these systems include lowered ride height which not only looks cool, it’ll make the car handle better around corners, and enhanced road-holding. Each system is extensively tested exclusively for use in the Beetle.

Bilstein coilovers feature mono-tube gas pressure technology which improves tracking and braking stability. They allow chassis lowering range of approximately 30 to 50 millimetres on the front and rear axles.
