A copy of Lamborghini’s invitation card for the Aventador Roadster’s unveiling event has found its way to the web, confirming that the new drop-top Italian super car will be introduced to the world – or maybe to the few VIPs who received the invitation – on November 12th.

It just makes perfect sense for Lamborghini Aventador Roadster to be unveiled in Miami, partly because Lamborghini Miami is the world’s biggest and most famous dealership for the Italian brand, and partly because this car is right up Miami drug dealers residents’ alley. A fast, expensive, extremely flashy, open-top super car goes down well in a city with plenty of sun, and plenty of dough.

As for the technicalities, well, the car will be pretty much identical to the hard-top, maybe a bit heavier due to the structural work needed to stiffen up the chassis when you remove the roof. The roof itself is said to be one of those fancy folding affairs, and not just bits of metal and some cloth in a bag, like that of the Murcielago Roadster.
