The latest version of the MINI Countryman, going on sale in UK from November 2012, comes with a few minor updates. There are new paint finishes for the exterior, and a couple of tweaks inside the cabin to make it more user friendly. The engines have also become EU6 compatible.

MINI decided it’s too soon for the two-year old Countryman to get a facelift, so the design remain intact. The interior changes will be rolled out across all model variants though. They are quite subtle though, including newly designed rings encircling the Centre Speedo in Carbon Black or Gloss Black – part of the Chrome Line Interior option.

There is also newly designed door inserts with new armrests and electric windows switches. In place of the controls in the center console, you now get a larger storage compartment. The Countryman comes a three-seat rear bench, but if you like less practicality, for whatever reason, you can have them replaced with two individual seats free of charge.

New exterior shades available for the 2012 Countryman include Brilliant Copper metallic and Blazing Red metallic.
