Korando is nice crossover vehicle, and probably the best looking car Ssangyong makes. Now though they decided to turn it into a light commercial vehicle for the British market. It will join SY’s other LCV models including Korando Sports pick up and the Rexton CS.

The CSX Korando is based on the passenger car and has the SX trim level equipments, and 4×4 system. With a completely flat load area is accessed via a high lifting tailgate or two side doors, 1,312 cubic litre load volume,  433 kg payload, and 2,000 kg towing capability, the Korando CSX is practicl and versatile LCV.

The car’s advantages over normal LCVs is that it looks good, and it can negotiate every kind of terrain. Power comes from a 2.0 litre four cylinder turbo diesel engine that produces 149 PS and 360Nm of torque.

Being a proper SUV, the Korando also comes with Torque on Demand 4×4 system and is equipped with ESP with Hill Start Assist, and mud & snow tyres as standard. As for the equipment, you get roof rails, tinted glass and rear parking sensors, while inside there is a leather covered steering wheel and gear shift, cruise control and a Kenwood MP3 CD & RDS radio with iPod & Bluetooth connectivity, remote audio controls and six speakers.
